Field Targets
« on: December 09, 2009, 08:02:23 PM »
Pop-cans have always been a favorite target for airgunners ... This FT has the look I was aiming for... ;D
Targets are almost as addictive to collect as the guns....  :o
It will go down with a 5fpe KZ hit and stand up to 20fpe faceplate hits when set correctly... 1-1/2" Kill Zone that can be reduced as needed...

It is a shame to shoot at your targets, they are works of art.  But I'm not going to let that stop me! ::)

Even 5 with strings, one for each can, it would make for a fun plinking session... Different KZ sizes for each target... Very doable ... 8)

Camo paint job, paddle and all would get folks attention at a match.... ;D
Here's what the FT looks like after the base coat is laid out...
Can't really see it in this pic, but all the engraving markings are visible with the target in hand...

Still think these pieces of art are too nice to shoot at. :-\ Mr Moose, that you did up for me has never had a Pellet slung at him. Too afraid of missing da hole. :-[ Damn fine workmanship . And it certainly shows 8)

Had some time to work on a couple of new face plate cutouts ...
If the milder temperatures hold out, this one should be finished in the next day or two...

A more traditional look...
